AWARDS SEASON 2022: Drama League Award Nominations

Let us be among the first to welcome you to the 2022 awards season! The first round of accolades come from the Drama League Awards. Co-Hosts Denée Benton & André De Shields announced this year’s nominees this morning, and this list of nominees has us smiling like in pre-pandemic days. In addition to the annual and special awards, for the first time, the League is also presenting awards to recognize direction of a play and musical. Who will win? You’ll have to wait till May 20 to find out; but don’t worry, the next set of nominees (for the Outer Critic Circle Awards) will be out tomorrow, so you don’t have to wait long for more awards coverage. Subscribe for updates to be among the first to know.
